What is Custom-Care? Custom-Care dog boarding means that you choose how your dog spends their time! Select from our "doggy menu" so that we can ensure your dog has a fun and stress-free stay with us. Menu options range from:

Play time in the yard with other dogs; Individual play time with staff; Game time (fetch, hide and go seek and more!); Individual walks; Field trips to the park; Treat time; Stuffed kongs; Snuggle time (in group or individually); and more!

 

The best part is there are no additional fees. You shouldn't have to pay for your dog to enjoy their stay. Pay one simple, low cost fee and your dog will get the utmost care during their vacation with us!

About Our Facility: Our facility is located on the border between Sacramento and Elk Grove and is conviently lcoated near highway 99. We are in a neighborhood setting and have staff that live on site so your dog is cared for even overnight. Our employees are all professional dog trainers and are certified in canine first aid and CPR from the American Red Cross. Our facility is housed on a quarter acre property with 2 play yards. We have baby pools, misters for warm weather, climbing and play equipment for the pups, and secure fencing. We are a small scale facility designed to give your dog individual care and love. Because of this, we take on only a minimal number of dogs so make your reservations well in advance!

 A Day at Puppy Love Dogs: Dogs spend nearly all day out and about participating in activities ragning from group play, to dog walks, to game time and more! During meal times and overnight, dogs are kenneled indoors in a climate-controlled environment with soothing music and even a night light for evening time. Because of our unique customization of services, we make sure that your dog spends their time participating in activties they enjoy. One of the greatest complimants we receive is that people's dogs go home tired, happy, and not stressed. In fact, most clients are suprised by the lack of barking when they visit, just because the dogs are not clammering to get out but instead enjoy their time here.

We have one simply daily rate that includes all of your dog's activites, feeding, and medication (when applicable). We even offer discounts for longer stay and multiple dogs. Pickup before 12pm and you won't even get charged for that day!
  • Classical Music at night with a night light to help your dog have a stree free rest.
  • Positive association with your dog's kenneling experience. As dog trainers, we know the importance of making positive associations and we strive to ensure that each dog enjoys their stay. Through a carefully planned out routine and schedule, dogs learn to enjoy their down time in their kennels and quickly learn that food, treats, and toys can be expected each time they entere their kennel. Even dogs that have no experience with kennels do wonderfully here at Puppy Love Dogs.
  • Two large play yards containing play equipment, shade, open access to water, and more!
  • Safe and highly secure play areas are of the utmost importance to us. For this reason, we have raised fences, concrete slab underneath the fences to prevent dogs from digging out, specially latched fences and doors, play yard supervision by staff, only dog friendly plants growing, and an 8 ft masonry wall along the back of the play yard to keep pups contained at all times. In additon Puppy Love Dogs has monitored alarm systems, dawn to dusk lighting, and safety equipment and protocal all in place for emergency situations.
     
  • Eco-friendly, routine sanatizing to keep your pup healthy as well as reduce their exposure to harmful cleaning chemicals and germs while doing our part to be environmentally friendly. Your dog shouldn't have to stay in a dirty environnment or be overwhelmed with strong chemical smells and exposure.
  • Energy conscious products ranging from florescent light buibs to evaporative coolers, misters, and energy efficient appliances all to do our part to reduce our energy consumption.
  • Misters, misting fans, shade structures, baby pools, and more to keep your dog cool in the summer during play time.
  • Professional staff that are highly skilled in dog behavior, safety procedures, canine first aid and CPR certified, and are full time dog lovers!
  • Tours are available by appointment seven days a week so that you will be able to see how your dog will spend their time and get to know staff and see the Puppy Love Dogs difference :)

 

Doggy Daycare:

We are proud to offer the most affordable doggy daycare where your dog can come and play the day away. Open 7 days a week from 7am-7pm bring your dog or dogs to safely play with other friendly dogs and come home tired and happy. Drop off and pick up available by appointment.

Only $10.00 for all day play per dog!!!

     

Custom Care Extras: 

     

Customized service isn't just for your dog! Puppy Love Dogs Custom-Care means that we are flexible about drop off/pick up times and are open 7 days a week and on all holidays. Once you are ready to set your boarding reservation, we set drop off and pick up times to meet your needs at no additional cost. Whether it's dropping off at 7 in the morning, or picking up at 8:30 in the evening, we do our best to meet you and your dog's needs. Also clients are always welcome to call or email to get an update on their pup's stay.  When you come ot pick up your dog for the first time, staff will fill you in on how your dog did, how they spent their time, and even give you some pictures! You can also set an appointment time to come take the grand tour and see our large doggy play yards, fun canine play equipment, and see hwo your pup will be spending their time while boarding at Puppy Love Dogs new facility.
